THE REFRAME SPACE
When the life you've built no longer feels like yours
.
When the life you've built no longer feels like yours .
For people at a crossroads, who sense that something in their life no longer fits and they’re ready to understand and address it
A clinician-designed 3- month programme for high-functioning adults at a crossroads. When someone’s usual ways of coping, performing, or succeeding no longer fit their current life
Are you at a Turning Point?
A turning point is the moment you realise something in your life no longer fits in the way it once did. A crossroads.
Either the life you built no longer fits, or something significant in your life has changed and is effecting your sense of self.
You may have:
Stepped away from a long-held role, left a job, or are considering doing so
Reached a point of burnout or deep questioning
Experienced illness or loss that has given you a new perspective on life
Been feeling exhausted without an obvious cause
Received a diagnosis (eg. ADHD) and are questioning who you are underneath the compensatory strategies you built
Experienced a major life transition (eg. redundancy, retirement, divorce, empty nest) that is effecting your sense of self
Found yourself asking, “Is this the life I want to lead?” or saying “I don’t feel like myself anymore”
Tried therapy or coaching but remain stuck in repeating patterns.
From the outside, everything may still look okay. Inside, something is asking for attention. This is the moment you stop being able to ignore the gap between the life you’re living and the life you sense that you want to pursue. This is a turning point.
Reframe Space offers a structured process for adults at a turning point. The work focuses on helping you figure out what is no longer working, clarify what matters to you, and move forward with a clearer sense of direction.
Reframe Space: From Insight to Considered Action
Reframe Space follows a structured arc over three months with 1:1 biweekly individual sessions, between-session focused exercises and structured support
Together, we explore:
the patterns and coping strategies shaping your current life
the roles you learned to occupy in order to feel safe, valued, successful, or accepted
the emotional and psychological cost of maintaining those roles over time
the difference between inherited expectation and conscious intention
what you may be outgrowing psychologically, relationally, or professionally
how to begin experimenting with change in a way that feels realistic and integrated
The process is reflective, psychodynamically informed, and collaborative.
It combines structured formulation, guided reflection, experimentation, and between-session integration.
The goal is clarity, agency, and a more coherent sense of direction. Life starts to feel more inhabitable and less organised around survival patterns, which often leads to intentional changes in external circumstances.

About Dr Michele Hill
I’m Dr Michele Hill, a Consultant Psychiatrist with over 20 years of clinical experience and advanced training in Psychotherapy. I work with professionals, leaders, and thoughtful high-functioning adults at turning points in life, moments when the life you’ve built no longer quite fits and deeper questions begin to surface.
The Reframe Space model is designed for adults at turning points in life. I combine psychological depth, strategic clarity, and lived experience to help you understand what is shifting, realign with who you are now, and consciously design what comes next.
My work draws on decades of clinical practice, leadership, and personal experience of major life transitions and sits at the intersection of identity , performance, and purpose, for individuals ready to move from unconscious adaptation to deliberate choice.
If this speaks to you, I welcome you to get in touch.
-
I work with professional audiences, leadership teams, and organisations to explore the same principles that guide ReFrame: clarity, alignment, and conscious design.
-
The same unconscious forces that shape individual lives also shape teams, cultures and institutions. In addition to speaking about identity, turning points and alignment, I explore the psychology beneath high-performing systems. Topics include:
Identity and alignment at turning points
Late diagnosed ADHD
“High-functioning'“ ADHD and the costs of adaptation
How unconscious adaptation shapes leadership and decision-making
Midlife and its Challenges and Opportunities
-
I partner with organisations and health services to design or refine programmes, pathways, and systems. Using the same principles as ReFrame:
Clarifying purpose and desired outcomes before action
Identifying hidden drivers and assumptions in processes
Distinguishing legacy structures from present needs
Designing deliberately rather than reacting
Whether working with individuals, teams, or institutions, the goal is the same: to create alignment between values, purpose, and structure - so people and systems can thrive.
