When your life no longer fits, clarity and direction are closer than you think
— Dr Michele Hill

The ReFrame Space is a deliberate pause at a turning point, when success or stability no longer feels sufficient. It provides clarity about what has shifted and more intentional planning for your next steps.

About Dr Michele Hill

I’m Dr Michele Hill, a Consultant Psychiatrist with over 20 years of clinical experience and advanced training in Psychotherapy. I work with professionals, leaders, and thoughtful high-functioning adults at turning points in life, moments when the life you’ve built no longer quite fits and deeper questions begin to surface.

The Reframe Space model is designed for adults at turning points in life. I combine psychological depth, strategic clarity, and lived experience to help clients understand what is shifting, realign with who they are now, and consciously design what comes next.

My work draws on decades of clinical practice, leadership, and personal experience of major life transitions and sits at the intersection of identity , performance, and purpose, for individuals ready to move from unconscious adaptation to deliberate choice.

If this speaks to you, I welcome you to get in touch.

THE TURNING POINT

Sometimes the shift is quiet. Sometimes it’s dramatic.

At a certain point, you may notice that aspects of your life - your role, relationships, identity, or pace - no longer feel aligned with your needs or your values.

You may have:

  • Stepped away from a long-held role, left a job, or are considering doing so

  • Reached a point of burnout or deep questioning

  • Experienced illness or loss

  • Received a diagnosis that reframes your past

  • Experienced relationship challenges eg. divorce, betrayal, or are questioning the fit

  • Found yourself asking, “Is this the life I want to lead?”

Whatever the trigger, it unsettles your sense of identity and invites reflection: Who am I now? What do I truly want? What matters most? And within this period of transition lies opportunity for insight and considered action.

From the outside, everything may still look successful. Inside, something is asking for attention. This is not failure. It is a turning point.

Reframe Space offers a structured, time-limited reflective process for adults who feel at a turning point in their life or career. The work focuses on helping people step back from confusion or misalignment, clarify what matters to them, and move forward with a clearer sense of direction.

Individual Programme: The Reframe Process A six-step guided journey

ReFrame is a structured, time-limited process designed to help you move from insight into considered action.

Across six stages, we follow a clear arc:

1. Clarifying the Present Moment We map where you are now. What feels misaligned, uncertain, or pressing, and what this turning point is highlighting

2. Understanding the Drivers We explore the hidden motives, adaptations, and identity patterns that have shaped your choices to date. Not to pathologise them, but to gain insight and perspective.

3. Separating Inheritance from Intention We distinguish what is truly yours from what has been influenced by expectation, conditioning, or survival strategies.

4. Defining Alignment We articulate what alignment looks like for you now, in terms of values, energy, capacity, and priorities.

5. Designing the Next Chapter Developing a direction that reflects who you are becoming, not who you have been performing as.

6. Integration and Forward Momentum We consolidate clarity into practical decisions, principles, and strategies you can apply moving forward

By the end of the process, you will have a coherent understanding of your current transition, clarity about priorities and values, and a clear direction to move forward in a considered, intention way.

This is reflective, structured, and psychologically informed work, balancing insight with practical application.
Next step: [Book an exploratory call]

  • I work with professional audiences, leadership teams, and organisations to explore the same principles that guide ReFrame: clarity, alignment, and conscious design.

  • The same unconscious forces that shape individual lives also shape teams, cultures and institutions. In addition to speaking about identity, turning points and alignment, I explore the psychology beneath high-performing systems. Topics include:

    • Identity and alignment at turning points

    • Humane, nuanced understandings of ADHD

    • How unconscious adaptation shapes leadership and decision-making

    • When institutions drift from purpose into image

    • Designing careers and systems that reflect real human complexity

When individuals or institutions operate from unconscious defence rather than clarity, misalignment follows. When the underlying dynamics are made visible, alignment becomes possible

Whether working with individuals or with organisations at scale, the aim is the same:

To replace unconscious performance with conscious design

  • I partner with organisations and health services to design or refine programmes, pathways, and systems. Using the same principles as ReFrame:

    • Clarifying purpose and desired outcomes before action

    • Identifying hidden drivers and assumptions in processes

    • Distinguishing legacy structures from present needs

    • Designing deliberately rather than reacting

Whether working with individuals, teams, or institutions, the goal is the same: to create alignment between values, purpose, and structure - so people and systems can thrive.
